Fakhrul mourns lives lost in aircraft crash

DHAKA, July 21, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir today expressed deep shock and sorrow over the incident of a Bangladesh Air Force training aircraft that crashed into a building of Milestone School and College in Uttara, in the capital, causing casualties.

In a message of condolence, the BNP Secretary General said it is very tragic and painful.

“I have no words to express my condolence over this shattering and heartbreaking accident,” he said. 

Fakhrul expressed his deepest sympathy to the families of the deceased and injured. 

He prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls of those who were killed in the accident and the speedy recovery of all those who were seriously injured in the fire and are receiving treatment in hospitals.

“May Allah give them the strength to bear this immense grief,” he said.

He also demanded a fair investigation into the aircraft crash.
