Jamaat Ameer mourns aircraft crash causalities

DHAKA, July 21, 2025 (BSS) – Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr Shafiqur Rahman today expressed deep shock and sorrow at the causalities in a Bangladesh Air Force training aircraft crash on Milestone School and College campus in Uttara here.

In a condolence message, he said pilot of the aircraft Flight Lieutenant Toukir Islam and many students were killed while more than a hundred students received serious burn injuries in the crash. 

“I am deeply saddened by this tragic accident,” he said.

He urged all levels of leaders and workers of Jamaat-e-Islami and the local people to participate in the rescue work and provide all-out support in the treatment of the injured. 

He prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls of the deceased and conveyed his deepest sympathy to the bereaved families of the deceased. 

Shafique also wished the full recovery of all the injured and urged the concerned authorities to ensure necessary treatment and assistance.
