BNP leader Pintu visits 2 jet crash victim families in Mirzapur, Sakhipur

TANGAIL, July 27, 2025 (BSS) - BNP Vice-Chairman Abdus Salam Pintu today met the families of two students, killed in fighter jet crash at Dhaka's Milestone School and College, in Mirzapur and Sakhipur upazilas of the district.

Following the instruction of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, he met the parents of deceased student Tanvir at Nayapara village in Mirzapur. 

Later, he talked to another ill-fated student Humaira's father and mother at Hoteya Keranipara village in Sakhipur upazila.

During the meetings, Pintu conveyed heartfelt condolences from BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman and expressed deep sympathy to the grieving families.

Pintu said he met them following the instruction of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman. 

"Tarique Rahman is always being informed about you and the BNP family is always with you," he told the victim families.

 He assured them of the party's full support and solidarity during this difficult time.

At the moment, parents of the two victims burst into tears.

Pintu was accompanied by BNP central committee child affairs secretary Abul Kalam Azad Siddiqi, district BNP president Hasanuzzaman Shahin, general secretary Farhad Iqbal and district and upazila level leaders.

The BNP leaders offered munajat at the graves of the two students.
