DHAKA, July 27, 2025 (BSS) – A team of Jatrabari Police   has arrested three listed drug peddlers and recovered 2,000 yaba tablets from their possessions on Saturday.

The three arrestees are Md Badhan, 24, Alamgir, 35, and Abdul Mannan, 45.

“Acting on secret information,  a team of Jatrabari Police Station raided south Jatrabari Graveyard Road area at 8.20 pm on July 26 and arrested the three drug peddlers from the scene. 
Police recovered 2,000 yaba tablets and TK 43,840 from their possessions. A couple of other criminals managed to flee the scene,” a Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) release said today. 

A case has been filed in this connection.
