DHAKA, Mar 10, 2026 (BSS) - Dr. Professor Prabhat Chandra Biswas (P C Biswas), a physician from the Urology department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital, has been appointed as the Acting Director General (DG) of the Health Directorate.

An officer of the BCS (Health) cadre has been transferred and posted to the position and workplace said a notification issued today by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

Professor Dr. Prabhat Chandra Biswas is the Member Secretary of the Bangladesh Association of Urological Surgeons (BAUS).
