DHAKA, Sept 1, 2026 (BSS) - A 15-member delegation from the National Defence College (NDC), New Delhi, is visiting Bangladesh as part of its "Strategic Neighbourhood Study Tour", aimed at fostering interactions and understanding with the country's civil and military leadership.

The delegation comprises officers from the Indian Armed Forces and civil services, along with members of the armed forces of friendly foreign countries, said a press release issued by the Indian High Commission here. 

Upon its arrival in Bangladesh on August 30, the delegation interacted with Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Dinesh Trivedi.

During the visit, the delegation will be hosted by the Bangladesh Armed Forces and hold interactions with senior civil and military officials of Bangladesh.

The visit is part of the NDC's Strategic Neighbourhood Study Tour, which provides participants with opportunities to gain first-hand perspectives on regional strategic, security and bilateral issues through engagements with key institutions and policymakers, said the release.
