DHAKA, March 25, 2024 (BSS) - Dhaka Mariners Youngs Club 
thrashed  Sadharan Bima Corporation by 13-1 goals in the 
second match of Green Delta Insurance Premier Division Hockey 
League held at Maulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium on 
Monday.

In the day’s match, Mariners' star defender Sohanur Rahman 
Sobuj  scored hat-trick with four goals and India's recruit 
Rajinder Singh slammed hat-trick with three goals. They were 
well supported by skipper Fazle Hossain Rabbi and Indian 
recruit Ajay Yadov who struck twice each for Mariners.

Besides, Prince Lal Samonto and Sadaf Salekin scored one goal 
apiece to seal Marines emphatic victory on the day in the one 
sided affairs.

Indian recruit Ashu scored a consolation goal for  Sadharan 
Bima Corporation. 

Earlier, in the day’s first match, title aspirant Abahani 
Limited registered their second straight victory in the as 
they beat Bangladesh Police Sporting Club by 4-2 goals held at 
the same venue.
