DHAKA, May 24, 2024 (BSS)-The Independence Day Handball competition (man and
woman) begins tomorrow (Saturday) at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National
Handball Stadium in the city, said a press release.

Youth and Sports Secretary Dr Mohiuddin Ahmed is expected to inaugurate the
three-day meet as the chief guest, organised by Bangladesh Handball
Federation (BHF).

BHF president AKM Nurul Fazal Bulbul will preside over the opening ceremony.

The participating men's teams are Bangladesh Ansar and VDP, Border Guard
Bangladesh, Bangladesh Police Handball Club, Team Handball Dhaka and Faruk
Tomal Sports Academy.

While the participating women's teams are Bangladesh Ansar and VDP,
Bangladesh Police Handball Club, Handball Training Center, Dhaka and
Viqarunnisa Noon Sports Academy.
