DHAKA, June 7, 2024 (BSS) - Teer 15th National Archery
Championship began today (Friday) at Bangladesh Krira
Shikkha Prothistan (BKSP) in Savar.

A total of 126 archers (119 men) and 97 women) from 53
teams, including district sports associations, services
associations, BKSP, and clubs are taking part in the
qualification round of recurve and compound division of the
meet, sponsored by City Group and organised by Bangladesh
Archery Federation (BAF).   

BKSP director general brigadier general Syed Md Motahar
Hossain formally inaugurated the meet as the chief guest.
BKSP director (training) colonel Md. Mizanur Rahman, it’s
director (administration and finance) Muhammad Anwar
Hossain and it’s principal lieutenant colonel Md. Imran
Hasan were present as the special guests.

BAF president lieutenant general Md Maniul Islam (retd.) it’s
vice president Md. Mahfuzur Rahman Siddique, treasurer
Md. Anisur Rahman and archery team’s head trainer Martin
Frederick, among others, also present.
