Try not to disappoint spectators: Morsalin 

DHAKA, Sept 3, 2024 (BSS)-Bangladesh forward Sheikh Morsalin firmly said that 
they would utmost try not to disappoint their spectators in the two FIFA 
friendly matches against host Bhutan.

 "We are out of football for long time ... few days ago, our junior team 
became SAFF champions, so our spectators have obviously expectation from us 
and we'll try not to disappoint them." said the talented forward during the 
team's practice session at the Changlimithang Football Stadium in Thimphu on 
Tuesday.

Bangladesh will face host Bhutan in the first match on Thursday (Sept 5) at 
Changlimithang Football Stadium in Thimphu. The match will be played on 
artificial turf. 

Asked whether the facing any problem to make practice on the artificial turf, 
Morsalin said initially there was some problem to make practice on the 
artificial turf but now thing become easier gradually because there is no 
point in giving excuse with this turf as the opponents would also play on the 
same turf. 

Asked to comment about their target in the series, Morsalin said:"Actually 
our main target is to win the two matches in any how ... we need to score in 
the match and implement our coach's instruction as accordingly." 

The forward said the team has come in Bhutan few days before the matches to 
adapt the weather. Everything is being slowly positive with the team and 
optimistic to win the two matches against Bhutan.   

Winger Mohammed Foysal Ahmed Fahim also appealed the countrymen to support 
the team so that the team can start the two-match series with win.

"Defiantly we have no other alternative option but to win the two matches 
against Bhutan.... I want to dedicate myself for the team as well as score 
for the team," Foysal firmly said. 

He informed that they have good practice session and the players are able to 
overcome those problems which they faced in the last two days.

The Javier Cabrera's men will play the second match on September 8.
