DHAKA, June 23, 2025 (BSS) - Pacer Milan Rathnayake was ruled out due to a left side strain as Sri Lanka named an 18-member squad for the second and final cricket Test against Bangladesh today.

The two-match series deciding game starts on Wednesday at the Sinhalese Sports Club in Colombo.

Rathnayake gave Bangladesh a torrid time in the first innings with some excellent reverse swing display. He was instrumental in denying Bangladesh a 500 plus total. The Test ended in a draw at the end.

Squad: Pathum Nissanka, Oshada Fernando, Lahiru Udara, Dinesh Chandimal, Dhananjaya De Silva (c), Kusal Mendis, Kamindu Mendis, Pasindu Sooriyabandara, Sonal Dinusha, Dunith Wellalage, Pavan Rathnayake, Prabath Jayasuriya, Tharindu Ratnayake, Akila Dananjaya, Asitha Fernando, Kasun Rajitha, Vishwa Fernando, Isitha Wijesundara
