China halts export ban to US of some materials used in chips: ministry

BEIJING, Nov 9, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - China suspended a ban on exports to the United States of some key components needed to make semiconductors, Beijing's commerce ministry announced Sunday.

Restrictions on the export of dual-use items linked to gallium, antimony and germanium will be suspended until November 27, 2026, the ministry said in statement.
