DHAKA, Dec 08, 2025 (BSS) - Inflow of remittances witnessed a year-on-year growth of 21.2 percent reaching US$1008 million in the eight days of December, according to the latest data of Bangladesh Bank (BB) issued today.
 
Last year, during the same period, the country's remittance inflow was $831 million.
 
During the July to Dec 8, 2025 of the current fiscal year, expatriates sent remittances of $14,046 million, which was $11,969 million during the same period of the previous fiscal year.
