KHULNA, March 6, 2024 (BSS) - The divisional and district administrations, Awami League (AL) and its associate bodies and other socio-cultural organisations have chalked out elaborate programmes to observe the historic March 7 here tomorrow.
 
The historic March 7 will be celebrated in a befitting manner through paying rich tributes to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman with a fresh pledge for building a developed Sonar Bangla as dreamt by him.
 
The day will begin through hoisting of the national flag at dawn tomorrow. A colourful rally will begin from Shahid Hadis Park and will end at the Collectorate Building premises followed by placing of wreaths at the memorial of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Collectorate Building premises.
 
A discussion meeting followed by a cultural programme will be held at Khulna Shilpokola Academy.
 
Competition for children on delivering the 7th March speech of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman will be held at Khulna Shishu Academy.
 
The district and city units of AL, its associate bodies, including Chhatra League, Jubo League, Swechasebak League (SSL), Krishak League, Sramik League and socio-cultural and professional organisations will observe the day through various programmes.
 
Besides, Khulna University (KU), Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET), Khulna Agricultural University (KAU), Educational Institutions, Mongla Port Authority (MPA) and West Zone Power Company Ltd, Khulna will also observe the day through various programmes.
