CUMILLA, March 12, 2024 (BSS) - A mobile court here today fined two brick kilns Taka four lakh for operating illegally in Muradnagar upazila of the district.

 
A joint mobile court, led by executive magistrate and Senior Assistant Commissioner of the District Administration Farhana Nasreen and Inspector of the Department of Environment Jobair Hossain, conducted a drive at Prova Bricks in Sopla area of the upazila, fined Taka two lakh and Anoy Bricks in Sopla area of the upazila, fined Taka two lakh for constructing bricks without permission of the Department of Environment.

The two illegal brick kilns were fined Taka 4, 00,000 for violation of the law and various irregularities, concerned sources said.
