CHAPAINAWABGANJ, April 8, 2024 (BSS) - Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested three alleged drug peddlers with 3 kgs of heroin from Chapainawabganj sadar upazila on Sunday.
 
The arrested were identified as Md Shofiqul Islam, 44, of Char Kodalkati village, Md. Alauddin, 55, and Md. Sumon, 25, both of Char Alatuli Bokchar. All are under Chapainawabganj sadar upazila.
 
RAB said, acting on detective information, an operation team of RAB-5 conducted a raid at Raninagar under Chapainawabganj sadar upazila around 6.15pm and arrested the trio with the heroin.

Later, the elite force handed them over to the police of Chapainawabganj sadar thana with a case.
