CHATTOGRAM, May 11, 2024 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-7) arrested two drug traders with 30-kg hemp and 98 bottles of phensidyl from Khan City Center area under Zorarganj Thana on Friday night.

The detainees were identified as Md. Tuhin, 38 and Md. Sohail, 28.

RAB intercepted a pickup van on Dhaka-Chattogram highway of the area and recovered the hemp and phensidyl after searching the pickup van and arrested them, said Md Sharif-ul-Alam, senior assistant director of RAB-7.

In primary interrogation, the arrested persons confessed their involvement in trading drugs, he said.
