BENAPOLE, July 10, 2024 (BSS) - Boarder Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in a drive arrested a man with 18 pieces of gold bars in Benapole frontier area last night.

The arrested man was identified as Limon, 30, hailing from Putkhali village under the Benapole Port Thana area.

On a tip-off, a BGB team conducted a raid at Putkhali Baropota Bazar around 10:30 pm and arrested Limon with the gold bars, said Commander of BGB-21 Battalion Lieutenant Colonel Khurshid Anowar.

Limon was handed over to Benapole Port Thana police and the gold bars were deposited at Jashore treasure.
