PIROJPUR, July 11, 2024 (BSS) - Corrugated sheets and cash were distributed among cyclone Remal affected 50 families in Sadar upazila today.

SM Rezaul Karim, MP, distributed the sheets and money as the chief guest at a function held at Shaheed Omar Faruk Auditorium in the town this morning.

Upazila Nirbahi Officer Golam Morshed Mishu presided over the function. It was addressed, among others, by Upazila Parishad Chairman S M Bayezid Hossain, Vice Chairman Shahnaj Parveen Shanu and Kadomtola Union Parishad Chairman Shihab Hossain.

Each of the affected families got a bundle of sheets and Taka 3,000.
