MEHERPUR, Aug 28, 2024 (BSS) - The District Department of Consumer Rights fined a fertilizer businessman Taka 50,000 for irregularities in the town here today.

Assistant Director of the District Department of Consumer Rights Shajol Ahmed conducted a drive at Fakrul Traders in the town and fined its owner Taka 50,000 for selling fertilizers at higher price.

District Nirapod Khadyo Officer Riaz Mahmud, Sanitary Inspector Tarikul Islam and a police team were present during the drive.
