NARAIL, Sept 2, 2024 (BSS) - A youth was killed in a road accident on the Narail-Lohagora-Dhaka highway in Duttopara bus stand area of Sadar upazila here today.

The deceased was Tajin Hossain, 25, son of Abdur Razzak, a resident of Durgapur area under Narail Municipality.

The accident took place in the area around 7.30 am when a truck hit Tajin's motorcycle from opposite direction, leaving him dead on the spot, said Mrittunjoy Biswas, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Tularampur Highway Police.

Police recovered the body from the spot and sent it to Narail Sadar Hospital morgue.
