MANIKGANJ, Sept 26, 2024 (BSS) - Three persons were killed and 20 others injured in a head-on collision between a minibus and a truck on the Dhaka-Aricha highway in Shibalaya upazila of the district on Thursday morning.

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Police said the accident took place near Boro Boali Bridge when a minibus carrying garment workers collided head-on with a truck around 6:30 am, leaving one garment worker dead on the spot and 22 others injured.

The injured were admitted to different hospitals including Manikganj Sadar 250-bed hospital where.

Two others succumbed to their injuries at the hospital.
