RANGPUR, Feb 1, 2025 (BSS) - On behalf of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) 
acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, the 26 city ward unit of Jatiyatabadi Jubo 
Dal distributed blankets among cold-stricken people in the metropolis today.

 Convener of Rangpur Metropolitan BNP Samsuzzaman Samu and its Member-
secretary Advocate Mahfuz Un Nabi Don distributed the blankets in a function 
held in Nurpur area of the city as the chief and special guests respectively.
 
Senior Joint Convener of Rangpur Metropolitan Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal Md Jahir 
Alam Nayon, Member-secretary of Rangpur Metropolitan Jatiyatabadi Chatra Dal 
Md Rabiul Islam and leaders of the 26 city ward unit of Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal 
were present.
 
Advocate Mahfuz Un Nabi Don said, despite being abroad for many years, 
Tarique Rahman always thinks about the people's welfare and he does not like 
the politics of violence. 
 
"As Tarique Rahman's soldiers, we will always stand beside people in times of 
trouble and need to mitigate their sufferings," he said.
 
Samsuzzaman Samu said distribution of winter clothes on behalf of Tarique 
Rahman, among the cold-stricken people will continue to mitigate their 
sufferings in Rangpur city and across the district.
