SIRAJGANJ, Feb 1, 2025 (BSS) -Three members of a family were killed as a bus 
hit a passenger loaded auto-van in the district on Friday.

The deceased were Shafiqul Islam, 38, son of Golam Mostafa of Baitara village 
in Sirajganj Sadar upazila, his wife Sumana, 20 and Shafiqul's younger sister 
Lucky, 25.

Confirming the matter to BSS, Masud Rana, cousin of deceased Shafiqul Islam, 
said that the incident took place on Friday evening while a bus rammed the 
auto van in Mulibari area leaving them dead on the spot.
