Police returns 119 missing mobile phones, cash to owners

JHENAIDAH, July 31, 2025 (BSS) - Police has recovered 119 mobile phones of different brands which were lost, stolen and robbed at different times and returned those to their legal owners.

They also returned Taka 86,790, which were stolen through mobile banking, to their legal owners.

Cyber Crime Investigation Cell of Jhenaidah police raided different areas and recovered the stolen mobile phones and money.

Police recovered the missing mobile phones using information technology, after filing of general diary and complaints by the owners to this end.

The recovered mobile phones were handed over to the legal owners on Thursday in presence of Police Super Mohammad Manjur Morshed at his office.

The mobile phone owners, who were happy to get their lost mobile phones back in the shortest possible time, have expressed gratitude to the police.
