Coast Guard Seizes Foreign Beer, Liquor in Mongla

BAGERHAT, Nov 24, 2025 (BSS) - The Coast Guard conducted a special operation 
in Mongla on Sunday, seizing foreign liquor and arresting two suspects.

The detained individuals and the confiscated items - 94 cans of foreign beer 
and 10 bottles of liquor worth Taka 1.47 lakh - were handed over to Dakop 
Police Station for legal action.

Coast Guard West Zone Media Officer Lt Commander Md Muntasir Ibne Mohsin 
confirmed the operation, saying such drives will continue to protect the 
youth from drug and alcohol-related threats.
