BSCIC’s buyer-seller meeting held in Thakurgaon

THAKURGAON, Nov 30, 2025 (BSS) – A three-day buyer-seller meeting organised by BSCIC concluded today at the Thakurgaon Public Club Ground.

As part of the programme, a seminar titled “Possibilities, Challenges and Do's in Marketing of Agro-based Industries” was held.

Officials from concerned government departments, prominent industrialists, businessmen, and local entrepreneurs attended the event.

Thakurgaon BSCIC District Office Deputy Manager Hafizur Rahman presided over the meeting.

Dr. Md. Sultan Mahmud, Professor of the Department of Food Engineering and Technology at Dinajpur Haji Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University, presented the keynote paper at the seminar.

Additional Deputy Commissioner Md. Nazmul Haque Sumon attended as the chief guest, while Deputy General Manager (Administration) of BSCIC Dhaka Ziaul Haque and Additional Deputy Director of the Department of Agricultural Extension, Thakurgaon, Jahangir Alam, spoke as special guests.

Earlier, a fair was held from November 18 to 27 at the same venue, where more than 50 stalls were set up.

At the end of the seminar, certificates and prizes were awarded to participants in the BSCIC Entrepreneur Fair.
