One killed in Nilphamari road crash

NILPHAMARI, Dec 6, 2025 (BSS) - A worker of Uttara EPZ was killed in a road accident at Kachari Bazar in Sadar upazila here this morning.

The deceased was Helal Hossain, 35, son of Naijul Islam of Uttar Araji Charaikhola village of the upazila.

The accident took place on the Nilphamari-Saidpur road when a speeding truck hit Helal's motorcycle and he lost control of the bike and fell on the road, crushed under the wheels of the truck and died on the spot. 

Confirming the matter, Officer-in-Charge of Sadar Police Station M.R. Sayeed said that the deadly truck has been seized. The body has been handed over to the family after completing the legal process.
