Dr Zahid casts vote at Motihara Government Primary School

DINAJPUR, Feb 12, 2026 (BSS) - BNP standing committee member Prof. Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain, candidate for Nawabganj-Birampur-Hakimpur-Ghoraghat, exercised his voting right in the 13th National Parliament election today at Motihara Government Primary School in Putimara union of Nawabganj upazila.

After voting, Dr. Zahid Hossain expressed confidence in his victory, stating, “If impartial voting is held, I am hopeful of winning by a huge margin. Regardless of religion, caste, party, or opinion, the people have expressed their desire to vote for the ‘Sheaf of Paddy’ symbol to form a government under the leadership of BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman, the worthy son of BNP founder Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman and late national leader Begum Khaleda Zia.”

The voting process across Dinajpur proceeded smoothly, with party candidates encouraging voters to participate actively in the democratic process.
