Vote battle ends peacefully in Manikganj

MANIKGANJ, Feb 12, 2026 (BSS) - Voting of the 13th Parliamentary Election and Referendum ended peacefully in all the three constituencies of the district amid a festive mood.

The vote started at 7.30 am and continued until 4.30 pm without any interruption. 

The voters have exercised their voting rights in a peaceful atmosphere as the necessary preparation was taken earlier for holding free, fair and participatory elections with festivity.

According to the preliminary reports, more than 60 percent votes were casted in all the three constituencies. Of them, Manikganj Sadar constituency-3 (Manikganj Sadar and Saturia upazilas) casting vote is about 65 percent.

The counting of votes was continuing when filing this report.
