Four held with huge drugs in Rangpur

RANGPUR, March 10, 2026 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 in a drive seized huge smuggled drugs and arrested four presumed drug dealers from Ekilimpur village under Pirganj police station of Rangpur on Monday.
 
The seized contraband drugs included four-kg of ganja, 287 pieces of Yaba tablets and 11 grams of heroin, a press release said here this afternoon.
 
On a tip off, a smart team of the RAB-13's Crime Prevention Company (CPC)-3 from Gaibandha Camp in the raid seized the drugs and arrested the four men from Ekilimpur village at 11:55 pm on Monday.
 
The arrestees are Md. Hanif, 42, Md Ariful, 45, and Md Abdul Malek, 37, of Ekilimpur village and Md Gazi Sheikh, 50, of village Chhotokua under Pirganj police station of Rangpur district. 
 
After filing a case in this incident, the elite force handed over the arrested persons and seized drugs to Pirganj police station of Rangpur for further legal actions, the release added.
