Man held with 600 pieces of Tapentadol tablets in Dinajpur

RANGPUR, July 15, 2026 (BSS) - Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 arrested an alleged drug dealer with 600 pieces of contraband Tapentadol tablets from his house in Nurpur village under Ghoraghat police station in Dinajpur on Tuesday evening.
 
On a tip-off, a team from the RAB-13's Dinajpur Camp conducted a raid in the village, seized the contraband drugs and arrested him at 6:30 pm, said a RAB press release.
 
The arrestee is Md Iqbal Hossain, 43, son of Iman Ali of the same village under Ghoraghat police station of Dinajpur district.
 
After filing a case in this incident, the elite force handed over the seized drugs and arrested persons to Ghoraghat police station of Dinajpur for further legal action, the release added.
