CHATTOGRAM, Aug 25, 2026 (BSS) - The holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi, which commemorates the birth and demise of Prophet Hazrat Mohammad (SM), will be observed in the port city tomorrow with religious fervor and solemnity.

A colorful ‘Jasne Julush’ rally will start from the city’s Sholosohor Alamgir Khankha Sharif at 8 am, organized by Anjuman-e-Rahmania Ahmadia Sunnia Trust (ARAST).

Millions of people are expected to join the procession, as they do every year.

Gaoucia Committee Bangladesh has also urged devotees to organize processions at their respective district headquarters.

ARAST Secretary General Mohammad Anwar Hossain shared the information at a press conference held at Sholosohor Alamgir Khankha Sharif earlier today.
Awalade Rasul Allama Syed Muhammad Sabir Shah (RA) will lead the procession organized by Anjuman-e-Rahmania Ahmadiyya Sunnia Trust (ARAST).

The city has been adorned with beautifully decorated arches at various intersections in preparation for the procession.

He urged people to follow the guidelines issued by the police administration and designated volunteers, particularly the rules announced by the Anjuman Trust, to maintain order and ensure the security of the procession.

The procession will begin at 8 am from Alamgir Khanka, next to the Jamia Ahmadia Sunnia Kamil Madrasa in Sholashar. It will pass through Bibirhat, Muradpur, Sholashar Gate No. 2, GEC, WASA, Dampara, Lalkhan Bazar and Tigerpass before returning to the Jamia Madrasa procession ground along the same route.

To maintain public order and ensure the peaceful completion of these events, the CMP has prohibited the carrying, display and use of weapons.
