UN Security Council to hold meeting on India, Pakistan situation on May 5

UNITED NATIONS, May 5, 2025 )BSS/TASS) - A meeting of the UN Security Council over the growing tensions between India and Pakistan will be held on Monday, May 5, the Pakistani mission told a TASS correspondent.

"Pakistan has officially requested emergency closed consultations in the UN Security Council. Pakistan's Permanent Representative to the UN Asim Iftikhar Ahmad will make a statement [to reporters] after the meeting," the mission said.
