Trump tells Merz US will have 'great relationship' with Germany

  WASHINGTON, June 5, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - US President Donald Trump on Thursday assured visiting German Chancellor Friedrich Merz that the two countries will have strong ties.

   "We're going to have a great relationship with your country," Trump told Merz at the beginning of the German leader's White House visit.
