NAIROBI, June 26, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - Kenya's cabinet secretary for the interior
condemned on Thursday the previous day's unrest in which 16 people died and
thousands of businesses were destroyed in "riots, chaos and anarchy".

"What unfolded yesterday was not a protest. It was terrorism disguised as
dissent," said Kipchumba Murkomen, interior cabinet secretary, in a televised
speech.
