BNP to hold doa, milad mahfil for Begum Khaleda Zia today

DHAKA, Jan 2, 2026 (BSS) - The BNP will hold doa and milad mahfil to seek eternal peace for the departed soul of former Prime Minister and party Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia today.

As part of the central programme, a doa and milad will be held at Azad Mosque in Gulshan here after Asr prayers.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, members of the BNP Standing Committee, senior leaders, and leaders of Dhaka City BNP and associated and front organizations will attend it.

Additionally, a milad and doa mahfil will be arranged by BNP Standing Committee member Mirza Abbas at his Shahjahanpur residence after Asr prayers in memory of the late Begum Khaleda Zia.

Meanwhile, the Chhatra Dal will hold a doa and munajat on the Teacher-Student Centre (TSC) premises of Dhaka University at 5 pm.

Furthermore, all units across the country will organize doa and munajat seeking eternal peace for the departed soul of Begum Khaleda Zia.
