Nahid for enhancing Bangladesh Film Archive's capacity

DHAKA, Jan 8, 2025 (BSS) - Information and Broadcasting Adviser Md Nahid Islam today urged the officials and employees of the Bangladesh Film Archive (BFA) to work sincerely to enhance the capacity of the state-run organisation.

"Bangladesh Film Archive is playing a pivotal role in preserving the country's history, heritage and culture," he said after paying a visit at BFA in the city.

The adviser visited projection hall, multi-purpose hall, digital lab, film museum, film checking room, film volt and library of the BFA.

BFA Director General Md Kamruzzaman, film archive project director Yaqub Ali, directors Farhana Rahman and Muhammad Arif Sadek, among others, were present.
