Fire erupts in capital’s Korail Slum

DHAKA, Nov 25, 2025 (BSS) – A fire broke out in the Korail Slum in the capital’s Tejgaon area this afternoon.

According to Fire Service and Civil Defence (FSCD) media officer Talha bin Zasim, the blaze erupted around 5:22pm today.

He said that eleven fire-fighting units rushed to the scene to bring the fire under control.

No casualties have so far been reported, he added.
The cause of the fire could not be ascertained immediately, he stated.
