DHAKA, Nov 23, 2025 (BSS) - The Election Commission (EC) will hold a dialogue with 81 domestic election observer organizations on November 25 in preparation for the 13th parliamentary elections.

The discussions will take place in two sessions at the conference room of Nirbachan Bhaban in Agargaon, Dhaka. The first session, involving 40 organizations, will start at 10:30 am, followed by the second session with 41 organizations at 2 pm.

Chief Election Commissioner AMM Nasir Uddin will preside over the dialogue, EC Assistant Director (Communication) Md Arshadul Haque said.

Other election commissioners and senior officials of the EC Secretariat will also participate the dialogue.

Earlier, as part of its ongoing outreach, the EC held dialogues with at least 47 registered political parties on November 13, 16, 17, and 19.

The commission has also exchanged views with media personalities, election experts, women leaders, academicians, and civil society representatives.

The suggestions and proposals gathered from these consultations have contributed significantly to finalizing the election code of conduct.

The commission believes that these dialogues with political parties will make the next national parliamentary elections more acceptable and participatory.
