Govt assures overnight stay for passengers of cancelled flights

DHAKA, Feb 28, 2026 (BSS) - The Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment today said passengers affected by flight cancellations due to the evolving Middle East situation will be provided with overnight accommodation facilities.

In a message issued for public awareness, the ministry said the cancellation of some flights amid the prevailing situation in the Middle East has caused unexpected inconvenience to passengers.

It assured that necessary arrangements have been made to provide overnight stay facilities to those whose flights have been cancelled.

The ministry requested affected passengers to contact the Expatriate Welfare Desk or the designated lounge for required assistance and accommodation support.
