DHAKA, Jan 1, 2024 (BSS) - Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country, said a met office forecast for the next 24 hours begins from 9am today.
 
Moderate to thick fog may occur over the country during midnight to morning and it may continue till noon at places over the country. Air navigation, inland river transport and road communication may disrupt due to thick fog, it said.
 
Night and day temperatures may fall slightly over the country. Due to thick fog, cold day conditions may prevail at places over the country.
 
Country's highest temperature on Sunday was recorded 30.6 degree Celsius at Sitakunda and lowest temperature today was recorded 11.6 degree Celsius at Tetulia.
 
Ridge of sub continental high extends up to West Bengal and adjoining area. Seasonal low lies over South Bay, extending its trough to North Bay.
