DHAKA, March 23, 2024 (BSS) - Awami League (AL) General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Dean of Social Science Faculty of Dhaka University (DU) Professor Dr Zia Rahman.

In a message of condolence, he prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.

Dr Zia Rahman passed away at a private hospital in the capital in the early hours of today at the age of 58.
