DHAKA, July 04, 2024 (BSS)-A Dhaka court here today ordered the authorities concerned to attach the immovable properties of Mohammed Enamul Hoque, commissioner of Sylhet Customs, Excise & VAT Commissionerate, in a case lodged over amassing of illegal wealth.

Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge Mohammad Ash Shams Jaglul Hossain passed the order, allowing a plea of the Investigation Officer and the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Deputy Director Farzana Yasmin.

Confirming the matter to BSS, ACC counsel Mahmud Hossain Jahangir said the anti-graft body filed the case against Enamul for amassing an illegal wealth of Taka 9.76 crore.
