CHATTOGRAM, July 4, 2024 (BSS) - The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) today filed a case against former senior assistant police superintendent Md Abul Hashem and his wife Taherina Begum for concealing information of their assets and earning illegal wealth.

Mussabir Ahmed, assistant director of the ACC Integrated Office-2, filed the case against them with its office here this afternoon for concealing information of their assets worth about Tk 11, 30,328 by providing false statement and earning illegal assets of Taka 61,92,750.
 
Md Abul Hashem, who was the senior assistant police superintendent of police, retired from service on October 16, 2022.
