GAIBANDHA, July 6, 2024 (BSS) - Mahmud Hasan Ripon, MP, today urged the flood hit people of Fulchhari and Saghtaupazilas not to pay any tension about the ongoing flood as the government would remain beside them during the emergency and its post period.
 
"The government, led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, stood beside the victims across the country at the time of natural calamities. Like the previous times, the government would stand the flood victims of two upazilas with relief to mitigate their sufferings," he also said.

The lawmaker was addressing a function on relief distribution programme to the flood victims of the upazilas as the chief guest.

He also urged the flood victims to deal with the ongoing flood situation with patience and courage.

Later, he distributed relief materials among the people of flood affected union.
