DHAKA, Oct 22, 2024 (BSS) – Bangladesh Meteorological Department today forecasted dry weather mainly over the country during the next 24 hours.
“Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country”, said the forecast for the next 24 hours begins from 9am today.
The well-marked low over the East central Bay of Bengal and adjoining North Andaman Sea moved west-northwestwards and intensified into a depression over the same area.
It is likely to move in west-northwestwards and intensify further into a cyclonic storm.
Country’s maximum temperature on Monday was recorded 34.6 degree celsius at Bandarban and minimum temperature today was recorded 17.8 degree celsius at Tetulia.
Maximum rainfall for the last twenty-four hours till 6am today was recorded 02 millimeters (mm) jointly at Cox’s Bazar and Teknaf.
Day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country.
The sun sets today at 05-26 PM and rises tomorrow at 06-00 AM in the capital.
