FENI, Nov 24, 2024 (BSS)- Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami has provided financial support to Mahbubul Haque Riyad and Jahangir Alam who were injured during the anti-discrimination student movement in Mohipal area in Feni District.

A Jamaat delegation led by central leader Professor Liakat Ali Bhuiyan today went to the home of the victims and provided them Taka 25,000.

District Jamaat leaders AKM Shamsuddin and Mufti Abdul Hannan were present, among others.

Riyad and Jahangir were injured allegedly in the attack of leaders and activists of the Awami League on August 4.
 
Riyad was a student of Feni Govt. College and Jahangir was a construction worker.
