DHAKA, Nov 25, 2024 (BSS)- Police on Sunday filed a case against 7000 to 8000 unidentified people for their alleged involvement in carrying out vandalism, attacking police personnel and looting a magazine loaded with bullets.

Duty officer, sub inspector Saidur Rahman of Sutrapur thana told BSS that police filed the case with Sutrapur Police Station.

He said the case was filed against them as they attacked the police personnel, prevented them from discharging their professional duties, vandalised the police vehicles and looted a magazine loaded with bullets.

No one was so far arrest in this connection till filing of this report at 11:30pm today.

Sub Inspector (SI) Abdul Kaium of Sutrapur Police Station was appointed as investigation officer (IO) of the case.
