DHAKA, Jan 2, 2025 (BSS) - Chief Justice Syed Refaat Ahmed today unveiled the cover of a book written by journalist Mehedi Hasan Dalim on July mass uprising.

The book titled “High Court’s Controversial Judgment & July Mass Uprising” was published by Bangladesh Law Times and will be available at Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) annual book fair scheduled to be inaugurated on January 5.

Terming the book a historic document of July mass uprising, Chief Justice Syed Refaat Ahmed said this is the first book on the role of the judiciary and July mass uprising. He thanked the writer for writing the book on the mass uprising.

Supreme Court special officer Md Moazzem Hossain, chief justice’s personal officer Md Shariful Alam Bhuiyan, Supreme Court Reporters’ Forum (SRF) president Mas Udur Rahman Rana and Ekushey TV senior reporter Shakera Arju Shimu were present on the occasion, among others.
